Tae’s unique background and experience has contributed greatly to his success in commercial real estate ventures. After completion of his undergraduate degree in accounting, Tae graduated with honors from University of Florida Levin College of Law and also earned a Master of Laws in taxation (LL.M.) from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. For 20 years, Tae represented numerous domestic and international clients with all aspects of corporate transactions, real estate financing, acquisitions, and dispositions as well as tax planning.
Tae retired from the Florida Army National Guard after 21 years of service to his county as a light infantry officer. During his service, Tae attended and graduated from U.S. Army Ranger School, considered one of the most difficult military schools in the world. Tae also served as an embedded combat advisor in Afghanistan during 2005 through 2006 and earned a Bronze Star for his actions in combat. Tae’s last duty position before retirement was executive officer of a light infantry battalion, where he was responsible for planning the battalion’s current and future operations.
As CEO of Sentinel Fund, Tae is responsible for ensuring proper management and operation of all assets of Sentinel Fund, from ensuring that the current properties are operating efficiently to deciding when to sell properties and acquire new properties. Tae attributes his success as a fund manager to the lessons he learned during his military career as well as his professional career.
